The Angola team has been busy in the month of May making preparations for our fast approaching trip in July... Here are some quick updates

Spring Global Celebration: International Market

This spring Westover's activity center was transformed into an open air market with booths representing 31 countries and the ministries of our supported Global Family Workers and Nationals.  During the International Market our team had the opportunity to tell people about all the good works God is doing in Angola as well as raise support for the missions taking place there. 

Trip to D.C.

Near the end of May the whole team packed up and headed to Washington D.C. to submit our paperwork for Visas.  While there we hit a few bumps in the road regarding paperwork, but thanks to God's favor and a quick trip to a nearby OfficeMax we were able to submit our visa applications and head back to North Carolina.

Prayer Request

We are still waiting to hear on our visa applications.  Please pray for favor in dealing with the government and that the Angolan Embassy will accept our paperwork and return our visas.

We are continuing to raise support for our trip.  We  have raised half our support (praise the Lord) however, that means we still need to raise the other half.  Please be praying for our support team and God's provision.

Please pray for continued guidance as we prepare for the trip.  Pray that the Lord prepares our hearts to serve and prepares the hearts of all those we will interact with.
